Introduction

We all have the power to make a positive difference to our coast- simply take the Coastcare pledge to adopt coast-friendly actions.

This campaign is only open to residents in Victoria. It is being run by Coastcare in partnership with the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment. The campaign will be extended to other states in the future. For now, click here to find out how you can help the coast in your state or territory.

1. Simply make five pledges and you as an individual will help conserve our coastline.

• Actions are organised into 5 categories: At Home, At Work or School, On the Coast, On the Water, and Get Active. You can make pledges from any number of categories.
• The number after each pledge indicates the number of times you are committing to do the action described in the pledge, so that it becomes a habit.
• If you already take the action described in a pledge, that’s great! Pick a new pledge instead and increase your contribution to our coasts.

2. Once you are finished, register your details.

• We’ll send you an email of the pledges you have made. In return for completing your pledges you’ll receive a Coastcare calico tote bag, which you can use as a shopping or beach bag! We’ll also make sure you get the latest information on how to care for your coast and coastal activities.
